DIGITAL FABRICATION - "Growth"

Designed to reflect the growth of crystal structures, the final model and prototypes were developed through the concepts of parametricism and attractors. This was done to vary the resulting geometries of the individual crystals. You can find out some more information about the use of attractors in design here.

Each model was created using a "Maker-bot 2" 3D printer and white PLA filament.

The designs were featured and exhibited as part of the 2016 Luminosity event at UNSW Oct 2016.
